PORCELAIN OR CERAMIC POT FOR COSMETICS.
FR 3 056 087 - A1
The invention relates to a porcelain or ceramic jar (1) for cosmetics. The invention is characterized in that the pot (1) comprises a base (2) of porcelain or ceramic comprising a groove (16) with at least one notch (9), a threaded ring (3), a tank (4) and a cover (5), said threaded ring (3) comprising at least one lug (10), at least two clipping tabs (11) and a thread (12). The invention is also characterized in that the jar (1) is used to contain cosmetics away from light, water and fatty substances, in a refillable and / or reusable manner.

PORCELAIN OR CERAMIC JAR FOR COSMETICS
The present invention relates to a refillable porcelain jar for cosmetics, its manufacturing process and its use.
In the 18th century, it is known that perfumes, powders, ointments and other cosmetics were mostly kept in porcelain jars.
Porcelain is a precious material with many qualities. Made by the factories of Chantilly, Sèvres or Vincennes, it immediately seduced the nobility by its extreme refinement, its finesse, its whiteness, and the precision of its decorations. The creams and perfumes thus preserved and conditioned in these containers, showed all the refinement of an era which initiated this famous "art of living" in French.
However, nowadays, porcelain does not appear to be one of the materials meeting cosmetic standards and approved by the authorities for the conservation of cosmetic products.
Other containers are also known which have been made of ceramic of very diverse nature (glass, terracotta, earthenware, vitreous or even hard and soft porcelain).
However, with the exception of glass, which can be melted and closed (for example pharmaceutical ampoules), the other ceramic materials mentioned above cannot to date be hermetically sealed with their container inside without the use of a cover or stopper of natural origin (for example cork) or synthetic (for example polypropylene PP).
Furthermore, in particular for a round container which does not have a screwing stop, a user who closes the container experiences difficulties in determining when the tightening of the cover on the base is correct. Over tightening can cause the seal to crush. Insufficient tightening prevents the seal from ensuring a good seal. In both cases, air can enter the jar or volatile products in the jar can escape from the jar, so the product in the jar may degrade over time.
Also, the tightness of the container depends mainly on the tightening force of the seal or the length of the stopper. The opening of the caps is often irreversible and these lead to problems of contamination of the product contained. The crimped lids or capsules are also non-resealable or non-reclosable, their operations are based on the compression of a plastic membrane on the edge of the opening.
The resealable ceramic containers are therefore all made of glass. Glass is to date the only material whose flexibility of implementation ensures deformations and tolerances controlled in an industrial manufacturing process. This feature offers the possibility of making flanges and threads allowing the tightening of a plastic cover and ensuring the sealing of the container.
Finally, double-walled plastic pots for cosmetics are also known, for example made of polypropylene, polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) - styrenic - copolyester.
However, such pots are not refillable in that their filling cannot be done without risk of contamination and are not reusable resulting in overconsumption of plastic.
In addition, plastic cosmetic jars are known to cause contact allergies in certain subjects, in particular contact allergy to rosin, partially due to its ubiquitous appearance, in particular as an adjuvant in the manufacture of plastics. The plastics responsible for contact allergy are mainly epoxy resins, phenolformaldehyde resins and acrylates.
Considering the above, in order to solve the known problems associated with the use of cosmetic jars, the Applicant has developed a porcelain jar for packaging cosmetics that meets technical, aesthetic and normative requirements.
The pot according to the invention opens and closes hermetically in order to guarantee the preservation and the integrity of the product intended for daily use. In addition, the product contained in the jar according to the invention is in contact with an approved material meeting cosmetic standards in terms of conservation and contamination. Finally, the porcelain pot according to the invention retains the aesthetics and cachet of this noble material.
Finally, the porcelain jar according to the invention is non-allergenic for people allergic to conventional cosmetic jars, especially made of plastic. Indeed, the use of the porcelain pot according to the invention allows users with contact allergies to prevent and / or limit such contact allergies. In fact, when using the product contained in the pot tank according to the invention, the user only comes into contact with the product on the one hand, and the cover and / or the base, both porcelain, on the other hand, that is to say with non-allergenic products or materials.
The solution to the problem posed by the present invention relates to a cosmetic jar, characterized in that it comprises:
- a base comprising at least one groove and at least one notch;
- a closure means which is advantageously a threaded ring;
- a tank capable of containing products which are preferably liquid and or solid; and
- A cover capable of closing said tank by means of said closing means possibly surmounted by a cover.
Advantageously, the pot according to the invention comprises a base and / or a cover made of baked clay, preferably made of ceramic material. Preferably, the base and / or the cover of the pot according to the invention are made of porcelain or ceramic, more preferably still of porcelain which is a fine, translucent ceramic.
More preferably, the first object of the invention is a preferably refillable jar for cosmetics, characterized in that it comprises a porcelain or ceramic base comprising a groove with at least one notch, a threaded ring, a tank and a cover, said threaded ring comprising at least one lug, at least two clips and a thread.
The second object of the invention is a cosmetic contained in a jar according to the invention, protected from light, water and fatty substances.
Finally, the third object of the invention is the use of a jar according to the invention, for containing cosmetics in a refillable and / or reusable manner.
The invention will be better understood on reading the following nonlimiting description, drawn up with reference to the appended drawings, in which:
- Ligure 1 is an exploded view of the assembly of the pot according to the invention;
- Ligure 2 is a view of the threaded ring according to the invention;
- Ligure 3 is a view of the base according to the invention;
- Ligure 4 is a sectional view of the pot according to the invention;
- Ligure 5 is a bottom view of the pot according to the invention;
- Ligure 6 is an enlargement of the upper part of Figure 4 which is a sectional view of the pot according to the invention;
- Ligure 7 is a front view of the pot according to the invention;
- Ligure 8 is a sectional view of the cover of the pot according to the invention;
- Ligure 9 is a sectional view of the base of the pot according to the invention.
- Ligure 10 is a side view of the cover according to the invention; and
- Liguria 11 and 12 show longitudinal sections of the cover according to the invention.
The invention relates to a preferably refillable jar for cosmetics.
As illustrated in Ligure 1, the pot 1 according to the invention comprises a base 2 of porcelain or ceramic, a threaded ring 3, a tank 4 and a cover 5.
Preferably, the pot 1 according to the invention further comprises a cover 6, also made of porcelain or ceramic.
The base 2 and the cover 6 thus make it possible to cover the entire pot in porcelain or ceramic, as illustrated in particular in Ligure 7.
The base and / or the cover of the pot according to the invention are more preferably still made of porcelain.
Porcelain is made up of a dozen different clays including kaolin which gives it whiteness and translucency. Cooked a second time at 1400 ° C, its shard is fully vitrified, removing all porosity.
By way of non-limiting example, the Applicant has advantageously developed its own paste, hard and extremely resistant, based on 50% kaolin, 25% quartz and 25% feldspar in terms of mineral composition, and 70, 60% silica (S1O2), 25.60% alumina (AI2O3) and 3.80% flux (K2O, Νθ2θ) in terms of chemical composition.
These materials are diluted in water, crushed, mixed, sieved and then filtered, to be in the form of pancakes before being transformed, according to manufacturing techniques, into more or less liquid paste.
Such porcelain paste has a mechanical resistance of 115 Mpa (3-point bending), a thermal conductivity of 20 to 100 ° C (W / m * K) of 4 and a high absorption coefficient (opacity).
Generally, the pieces are first fired at around 980 ° C for 24 hours in ovens operating on natural gas. This cooking, known as de-baking, hardens the pieces, dehydrates them and makes them porous so that the enamel can then be fixed on the surface.
When the oven opens, there are brittle and porous parts. This porosity will allow enameling. Each piece, to have a smooth and shiny appearance, is soaked by hand in an enamel bath. The enamel consists of the same ingredients as those of porcelain paste but in different proportions.
Advantageously, the enamel used for the porcelain according to the invention is produced based on 20% kaolin, 60% quartz and 20% feldspar in terms of mineral composition, and 73.70% silica (S1O2), 12 , 40% alumina (AI2O3) and 13.90% flux (K2O, Na2O) in terms of chemical composition.
Such porcelain enamel has a coefficient of expansion after firing of 44 * 10 -7 from 20 to 500 ° C.
The pieces are then subjected to a second so-called high heat cooking, at around 1400 ° C for twenty-four hours. The purpose of this cooking is to vitrify the paste and the enamel so as to develop the whiteness, the translucency,
Ια sound and Ια solidity of Ια porcelain. It is during this cooking that the part takes most of its withdrawal (10% to 12%) and reaches its final size.
Porcelain is a material which does not fear water, fatty substances, ultraviolet (UV), or chemical attack and which does not undergo deterioration over time. It perfectly protects the materials it contains from the sun's rays. It is insulating, does not conduct heat or cold. It can withstand very high temperatures without losing its qualities up to 1400 ° C. It is easy to clean, and advantageously allows the production of decorations applied or engraved with high precision.
Unlike plastics and / or glass, porcelain is a natural, ecological, durable and inert material that leaves no polluting traces. Porcelain is more insulated than glass. It also increases UV filtration. If porcelain cannot be remelted like glass and be recyclable, it can however be recycled by being transformed into aggregates for construction.
Porcelain allows the creation of polychrome decorations of great precision which, fired at high temperature, give them great chemical and mechanical resistance.
Preferably, as illustrated in FIG. 1, the pot 1 according to the invention further comprises a topette 7 and a seal 8 making it possible to optimize the tightness of the pot according to the invention, in particular by preventing air from entering in the jar or products contained in the jar of the jar to escape. This has the particular advantage of further limiting the degradation of the product contained in the pot over time.
Essentially, as illustrated in FIG. 2, the pot according to the invention comprises a threaded ring 3 comprising at least one lug 10, at least two clipping lugs 11 and a thread 12.
Preferably, the threaded ring further includes a shoulder 13 and a clip-on notch 14.
Advantageously, the shoulder 13 ensures the centering of the cover 5 and a stop during screwing. The clipping notch 14 allows the tank 4 to be held integral with the threaded ring 3 while remaining removable in order to satisfy the idea of recharging.
Even more preferably, the threaded ring has a stop 19 which allows compression of the joint identical to each screwing and ensures the distance between the base 2 and the cover 6. Preferably, this stop 19 allows the centering of the cover 5 and possibly of the cover 6 at the end of screwing.
Preferably, the threaded ring 3 is independent of the base 2, of the tank 4 and of the cover 5.
The threaded ring 3 is clipped to the base 2 by means of at least one lug 10 and at least two clipping lugs 11. The lug 10 is fixed at the level of at least one notch 9 and the clipping lugs 11 are fixed at a groove 16, as illustrated in FIGS. 3, 4 and 9. The lug 10 thus prevents any rotation during tightening and loosening during the manipulation of the pot 1 by the user.
In order to guarantee a sufficient effort of the pins 10 on the base 2 of the pot 1, the threaded ring 3 is preferably made of amorphous copolyester, for example PN300 ™.
Holding the assembly of the pot 1 according to the invention requires that the base 2 preferably has a groove 16 with at least one notch 9. The groove 16 with at least one notch 9 is produced according to the methods commonly used by man of career.
As an example of an alternative embodiment of the invention, the lower part of the base 2 can be opened, that is to say that it comprises an orifice 17. Such an orifice 17 makes it easier to unclip of the tank 4 during its replacement.
Preferably, the pot 1 according to the invention is refillable by means of the removable tank 4.
As illustrated in Figures 1 and 4, the tank 4 is advantageously clipped onto the threaded ring 3 by means of the clipping notch 14.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the pots produced by the Applicant have been designed to be advantageously refillable and reusable. The tank 4 inside the pot 1 and more particularly of the base 2 can be detached by a simple pressure of the finger at the level of the clipping notch 14 to separate it from the threaded ring 3 and can be replaced by another tank 4 of the same size.
Alternatively, according to another embodiment, the tank 4 can be detached by pressing under the base 2 at the orifice 17. This simple finger pressure at the orifice 17 makes it possible to detach it from the ring threaded 3. Thus, the tank 4 can be replaced by another tank 4 of the same size.
Advantageously, the tank 4 makes it possible to limit its manufacturing costs and to favor its recharging with a new tank. In fact, the tank 4 being independent both of the base 2 and of the threaded ring 3, its characteristics (dimensions, weight, materials, etc.) are optimized and reduced to the maximum. This has the effect of limiting the waste when replacing said tank 4 and promoting its recycling.
The tank 4 is capable of receiving a product of interest, preferably a pharmaceutical or cosmetic product. Preferably, the tank 4 comprises a cosmetic product in solid or viscous liquid form.
Advantageously, the tank 4 is made of a material approved for the conservation of cosmetic products, unlike porcelain.
Preferably, the tank 4 is made of polypropylene, in accordance with the standards for preserving cosmetic products.
Even more preferably, the tank 4, the cover 5, the topette 7 and the seal 8 of the pot 1 are made of polypropylene.
Indeed, in order to comply with the requirements of health safety, food and non-contamination of the product, it must imperatively be isolated from the base 2 and / or the cover 6 in porcelain or ceramic, and any possible glue used in the design of the pot 1.
More preferably, the cover 5, optionally held integral with the cover 6, and the threaded ring 3, held integral with the tank 4, have threads 22 and 12 respectively which allow the jar to be opened and closed unlimited . A force during the tightening of the cover 5 in abutment makes it possible to compress the seal 8 on the tank 4 and thus to close the jar hermetically. The crushing of the seal 8 always remains the same over time following the openings / closings and confers airtightness.
Alternatively, the cover 5 possibly held integral in tightening and in abutment with the cover 6, and the closure means 3, held integral with the tank 4, integrate an advantageously circular magnet system making it possible to open and close the jar unlimited. According to this embodiment of the invention, no clamping force on the cover 5 is necessary. The seal 8 is automatically compressed on the tank 4, which also allows the closure of the pot 1 hermetically in tightness and in abutment.
However, due to the shrinkage, the limited precision of the threaded ring 3 due to the manufacturing process, and the high coefficients of friction between two porcelain or enamel surfaces, the use of a polymer thread 12 is preferable. . Advantageously, the thread 12 of the threaded ring 3 is preferably made of amorphous copolyester, for example PN300 ™.
In addition, a thread 12 for closing the cover 5 appears more practical than a conventional plug. The tolerances and dimensions of the threaded ring 3 can also be ensured.
Advantageously, the cover 5 according to the invention has at least one groove and at least one notch in its inner part.
As illustrated in FIG. 6, the cover 5 is first centered by a centering cylinder 23 which at the end of screwing arrives on a stop 19.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention as illustrated in Figures 6, 10, 11 and 12, the cover 5 can be advantageously serrated. The teeth 21 optimize the fixing of the cover 5 with the cover 6.
According to another embodiment of the invention, the threaded ring 3 is held integral with the base 2 by bonding, applied for example at the level of the groove 16. Such a bonding made with an adhesive, for example epoxy, is advantageously not visible by user of pot 1.
Likewise, advantageously, the cover 5 is held integral with the cover 6 by gluing. Such bonding makes it possible in particular to improve ίο the resistances to the various stresses during tightening and loosening of the cover 5 or even for example in the event of stretching of the cover 5.
The pot bonding system also provides a centering function and a wedging function for the threaded ring 3 which advantageously provides variable and adjustable play, for example of the order of 1.5 mm between the upper part of the base 2 of pot 1 and lower part of cover 5.
As indicated above, the cover 5 which is advantageously made of polypropylene is secured to the cover 6 by gluing.
As illustrated in Figure 6, the adhesive is advantageously injected in part 18 between the cover 5 and the cover 6. The adhesive is preferably distributed in a notch 20 of the cover 6. Advantageously, a large bonding surface ensures good cohesion of the assembly. The constraints involved are the shear stresses (rotational force) and the tensile stresses (when the two parts making up the upper part of the pot 1 are pulled, that is to say the cover 5 and the cover 6 ).
In order to guarantee a lasting hold of the assembly of the pot 1, and for reasons of adhesion, the glue used is preferably an epoxy glue.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, as illustrated in Figures 4, 6 and 9, the base 2 preferably has a flange 15. This flange 15 improves the connection of the threaded ring 3 with the base 2 from pot 1.
This rim 15 produced on the base 2 makes it possible to withstand the shearing forces with a surface for example of more than 6 cm 2 . It completes the resistance to tensile stresses (when, for example, the threaded ring 3 and the base 2 are pulled mechanically by the pins 10 which are housed in the base 2 of the pot 1 at the level of the notch 9.
The assembly, threaded ring 3, tank 4, topette 7, seal 8, cover 5, integrated in the pot 1 thus ensures perfect sealing of the product, advantageously cosmetic, located in the tank 4.
not
The different elements of the pot 1, namely the base 2, the threaded ring 3, the tank 4, the cover 5, the cover 6, the topette 7 and the seal 8 are of any shape, for example substantially circular and / or ovoid. , square, or even rectangular, only the thread 12 of the threaded ring 3 and the thread 22 of the cover 5 must be substantially circular.
According to a preferred embodiment as illustrated in Figures 1 to 6, the different elements of the pot 1, namely the base 2, the threaded ring 3, the tank 4, the cover 5, the cover 6, the topette 7 and the seal 8 are of substantially circular and / or ovoid shape.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the stroke of the cover 5 comes into abutment before the two parts 2 and 6 of porcelain come into contact. This is so as not to generate excessive traction forces which could separate the assemblies between the base 2 and the threaded ring 3 on the one hand, and the cover 5 and the cover 6 on the other hand. This space reveals one day between the two parts 2 and 6 in porcelain.
This apparent day between the cover 6 and the base 2 of the pot 1 allows a glimpse of the threaded ring 3, preferably translucent. This day thus makes it possible to distinguish a color or a shine which advantageously makes it possible to distinguish certain types of products. This detail can also bring an original shine allowing a play of contrast of colors, texture and material with the porcelain covering.
According to another object of the invention, the method of mounting the elements of the pot 1 according to the invention comprises the following steps:
1. Installation of the threaded ring 3 in the base 2;
2. Screwing the cover 5 alone without the tank 4 on the threaded ring 3;
3. Bonding of the cover 6 in abutment by aligning the cover 6 to the base 2;
4. Assembly of the seal 8 in the cover 5;
5. Installation of the tank 4 in the threaded ring 3 for clipping;
6. Screwing on the cover 6 with the cover 5 on the base 2 with the tank 4.
Finally, a final object of the invention relates to the use of a jar 1 according to the invention, for containing cosmetics in a refillable and / or reusable manner. As is apparent from Figures 1 and 4, the pot according to the invention preferably comprises a removable and / or rechargeable tank 4.
